From The Sea Pines CSA Maintenance Department
Sea Pines CSA Boardwalk #15 To Be Reconstructed and Extended
Sea Pines CSA Boardwalk #15, located between Painted Bunting Road and Belted Kingfisher Lane has exceeded its useful life and must be replaced.

  • Beginning the week of February 7th, Sea Pines CSA contractors will begin replacement and construction work on this boardwalk. The boardwalk will also be extended by 140 feet over the dune to aid in the protection and allow the dune to continue to build.

  • Work will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks, weather permitting. The beach boardwalk access will be closed to all pedestrian traffic during this time.
North Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project Update
 
  • Major stormwater drainage pipe removal and replacements are currently underway. Traffic delays are expected in the following areas:

  • In proximity to Sandhill Crane Road and Night Heron Villas
  • From Catbird Lane to Laughing Gull Road
  • From Oyster Catcher Road to Duck Hawk Road

  • Leisure trail reconstruction operations are also underway and leisure trails in the project zone have been milled and graded. Paving operations began this week and will continue for the next few weeks, weather permitting.

  • Leisure trails remain closed in the project zone to accommodate this work. Please refer to the Leisure Trail detour map here for more information. 

  • Project work scheduled to begin in upcoming weeks:
  • Drainage work in proximity to Green Heron
  • Drainage work in proximity to Lawton Drive
  • Roadway alignment work
  • Forming new curb along roadway in select areas

General Project Reminders

  • Heavy traffic delays should be expected on North Sea Pines Drive as crews utilize single-lane closures along this roadway to accommodate the work. Traffic control will be in place, obey the speed limit within the construction zone.
  • The Beachwalks located at #39 & #40 are not currently accessible from North Sea Pines Drive due to this project.
  • Sea Pines CSA will continue to keep the community updated throughout this project through our community emails and our website at www.seapinesliving.com/seapinesdrive.

Beachwalk Tree Trimming

  • Annual tree trimming along Sea Pines CSA managed Beachwalks (from #11-#47), began this week and will continue through spring.

  • Beachwalks will remain open, but we ask that pedestrians use extreme caution and pay attention to flagmen on-site.
Stormwater Repairs and Maintenance:

  • Line jetting of stormwater pipes in the Greenwood Forest area and areas in proximity to South Beach Lane will continue through mid-February, weather permitting.

  • Stormwater repairs will begin at Beachwalk #26 (near Snowy Egret Road and Surf Scoter Road) next week. The beachwalk will remain open, but we ask that pedestrians use caution while in the area.

2022 Sea Pines CSA Residential Assessment Reminder
Thank you to all property owners that remitted their 2022 Annual Assessments on time. Assessment balances were due as of Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

Commercial Pass Reminders & Information

  • As a reminder, calling in a Property Owner guest pass for a commercial vendor is not permitted. 

  • To gain entrance into Sea Pines, commercial service providers must purchase a daily or weekly commercial pass at the Greenwood Gate or Ocean Gate or they may apply for an annual commercial decal at www.seapinesliving.com/request.

Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office Seasonal Hours Ended 2/1/2022
 
As of Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office, located at 32 Greenwood Drive began operating at normal business hours:
 
  • Open Daily from 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Trash and Debris Reminders
  • Pet waste shall be picked up and properly disposed of in trash receptacles. No pet waste or pet waste bags may be disposed at Sea Pines CSA landscape debris pickup locations. 

  • All Properties shall be free of trash, garbage, and any type of non-vegetative debris. All trash, garbage, and non-vegetative debris shall be properly contained and routinely removed from the Property.

  • Trash cans and recycling bins shall be kept in service yards at all times. Curbside trash pickup is not provided in Sea Pines. Exceptions are outsized items such as broken-down packing cartons, which should be placed curbside just prior to expected pickup.

Sea Pines Property Owners Association (Formerly ASPPPO) Sends Out Voluntary Annual Dues Notice

Property owners may have received a mailing solicitation from the Sea Pines Property Owners Association (Formerly ASPPPO) regarding an Annual dues invoice. Please see a statement below from the Sea Pines Property Owners Association:

“While Sea Pines POA (formerly ASPPPO) is the only nonprofit association, validated by the Sea Pines Covenants, and dedicated exclusively to advocating for and protecting property owner rights and privileges, membership is voluntary. We apologize for any confusion created by a recent bill and we hope you will join or renew your membership.”
