CCMS Member Notice - Request for Resolutions for FMA Annual Meeting
Dear CCMS Members:

The Florida Medical Association 2021 Annual Meeting is July 30-August 1. Business is introduced into the House of Delegates through the presentation of resolutions by voting Delegates on behalf of their county or specialty medical society, special sections, or as individual Delegates.

We invite CCMS members to submit your resolutions for consideration to the CCMS Board. The board will review each resolution for potential CCMS sponsorship. We will forward to the FMA House of Delegates all resolutions the Board agrees are in the best interests of CCMS members and their patients. FMA members are also welcome to submit your individual resolution directly to the FMA without society sponsorship; see the guide for details.

To submit to the CCMS board for county sponsorship, follow the example and email your resolution to CCMS by Monday, May 3rd. For tips on writing a resolution, refer to pages 5-7 of the Procedures of the House of Delegates. For late resolutions you wish to be sponsored by CCMS, email by May 24th.

Prior to submitting resolutions, it is recommended that you review the current FMA Policy Compendium and the status of resolutions from the 2019 House of Delegates. (Available to FMA members only.), as well as resolutions submitted for the 2020 FMA annual meeting that will be debated at the 2021 FMA Annual Meeting.

Call CCMS at (239) 435-7727 or email if you have any questions.

To register for the FMA Annual Meeting, go to flmedical.org.

Thank you,
Collier County Medical Society
