Guidance & Counseling

We are excited to see more students returning on campus four days a week. While we continue to welcome more and more students daily, we need to ensure that we are doing it with the health and safety of all students and staff in mind.

Parents were asked to submit a request for their student(s) to return four days a week last month through our survey. If your student is not currently attending four days a week, but would like to, please submit your request to this form: https://forms.gle/2KjLffwxaXnLbeNj8

Please continue to have your student attend their current group UNTIL a notification has been emailed to you from the Guidance office. Emails are being sent to both the student’s mysaddleback.org email, as well as the primary parent/guardian email we have on file.

If you are unsure if your student is already scheduled to attend four days a week please use the information and graphic below to verify which group your student is in.

Please look under “Student Info” > “Demographics” > “Sched Grp”

Bottom right side of page: Group AB indicates a student is enrolled in on-campus learning four days a week.
Summer School Information

MVHS guidance staff have evaluated student records for graduation tracking. Most students are on track and DO NOT need to attend Summer School. However, students with a grade of D may want to retake a class if it is an A-G required course and are planning on applying to a four year university straight after high school. Students who received an F in a class will also need to make up that course if it is a graduation requirement .

There are 3 different programs SVUSD uses during the summer and each of those programs have specific details, we’ve created these SLIDES to help guide you and refer you to the district's summer school website for more details on each program, applications and more.

  • SVUSD Credit Recovery (college prep) Science
  • Pacific Coast High School -PCHS (college prep)
  • ACCESS Program (high school credit only)

To access applications directly click here.

Please contact your Guidance Technician if you are unsure what course or program to sign up for.
