The Spokane City Council will vote Monday night, December 5th, on a new landlord/tenant ordinance that threatens the local rental industry and your tenants.
Please consider testifying, or calling/emailing your city council representative, and encourage them to say "no."

Spokane REALTORS® are among Santa's elves, this year.
Over 800 “Elf” volunteers are available to be paired with the children to help them shop for everyone on their list and wrap gifts.
This year is the 30th annual Santa Express event - an especially happy occasion because in-person shopping is back for 2022!
Santa Express benefits the Vanessa Behan Nursery.

Santa Express is a holiday retail store for all kids in our community, many of whom make this shopping experience part of their Holiday tradition.
The store is open to young shoppers between the ages of 4 and 12 with gifts ranging in price from only $1.00 to $10.00.
The store also offers the availability for adults to shop in the boutique of specialty items perfect for stocking-stuffers, gifts for family, friends, or secret Santas.

Our Washington REALTORS Legal Hotline attorney, Annie Fitzsimmons, is back with a new video to continue her remarks on Showing Services.
Through audits and complaints, the Washington State Department of Licensing is discovering more and more Brokers are hiring other brokers for concierge real estate brokerage services.
Many DB's are unaware that their brokers are engaged in these services, and it presents several problems for the DOL, such as property management.
Department of Licensing says the same issues of agency apply to property management as they do home sales, as Real Estate license holders are exempt from the loopholes of non licensed entities.

Superlatives in headlines always get our attention – oldest, farthest, highest.
These words got my attention, this week, when I read them in a headline that describes the national housing landscape right now: the share of first-time buyers is oldest, the median distance moved is farthest, and the share of homes purchased in small towns and rural areas is highest.

Class Cancellation Policy:
A refund will be granted until 3:30 p.m. three days prior to the class, after which time there will be a 50% refund.
Anyone not showing up for class will not be given a refund.
