Wed., April 13 at the Samoset
The booths are all booked and now we're looking forward to an amazing day of networking, hiring, and engagement at our popular Business & Community Expo, returning to the Samoset Resort on Wednesday, April 13, 2 to 7 PM. The Expo presents an opportunity to meet and network with close to 100 local businesses and non-profits, all under one roof!

Job seekers are welcome and encouraged to attend the Business Expo to connect with a wide variety businesses who are currently hiring.

While the Expo takes the place of our Business After Hours for this month, there will be a cash bar available from 2pm to 7pm, and our room sponsors will provide complimentary appetizers in each exhibit room at 5pm.

PBMC offers recovery-ready employer training - next session is April 12
Pen Bay Medical Center is hosting a series on how to become a recovery-friendly worksite as part of the hospital’s ongoing work to support individuals in recovery who live and work in Knox County. Whether a local business is looking to hire individuals in recovery or better support individuals with substance use disorder (SUD) who are already employed to increase retention and decrease healthcare costs, this series will provide information on how to break down stigma and bias and support employees with SUD. Seeking Volunteers for Spring Clean-Up in the Camden Amphitheatre
The Camden Public Library is looking for volunteers to help with the annual Amphitheatre Spring Clean-Up Day on Friday, April 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers should arrive in the Camden Amphitheatre a little before 11:00 am with supplies like leaf rakes, pruning shears, weeding tools, tarps, and work gloves. Parks Director Dave Jackson will organize the crew and assign tasks. “We are grateful for the community’s help with our National Historic Landmark! The Amphitheatre needs some TLC to prepare for outdoor enjoyment in the warmer months ahead,” says Jackson. For more information, and to sign-up to volunteer, email dpjackson@librarycamden.org.
