The snow is melting and spring is on the way! Geraniums and begonias are growing. Soon it will be time for you to sow seeds.

Growing your own vegetables is one of the most satisfying and rewarding tasks you can accomplish. While you’re at it, save a little room for a cut flower garden! It is just as rewarding and will beautify your home all summer long. We have a huge selection of flower seeds here at Countryside and are here to help!
Some flowers do better than others for a cut flower garden. We recommend the following as they are easy keepers and will continue to bloom: Amaranth, African Daisies, Bachelor Buttons, Celosia, Cosmos, Flax, Marigolds (pick a taller variety), Rudbeckia, Scabiosa, Snapdragons, Sunflowers, Tithonia (attracts butterflies) and Zinnia.
