February is a month full of celebrations: Black History Month, National School Counseling Week, and a favorite among children of all ages, Valentine’s Day.
Black History Month, also known as African American History Month, provides an incredible opportunity for all of us—students, families, staff and the community—to acknowledge and celebrate the comprehensive history of African Americans and to also reflect on the vital role education plays in highlighting diverse cultures.
