ST. JOHN'S ANNUAL MEETING
May 2, 2021 - 10:30 am
Dear Parishioner:
The Annual Meeting of St. John’s of Lattingtown will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021, as part of 10:30 service. The purpose of the meeting is to review the budget and the activities of the past year at St. John’s, and any other business that may be raised and acted upon, including any new business.
Vestry elections will also be held. St. John’s By Laws state that to be eligible to vote: you must be at least eighteen years of age and have been baptized and have been a regular attendant of worship at St. John’s of Lattingtown and have contributed to its support during the twelve months immediately prior to the annual election.
The Nominating Committee has recommended the following for election as permitted by the By Laws:

Harold Bollaci for re-election of a three-year term to expire in 2024,

William (Bill) Bales and Shannon Vulin for an initial three-year term, to expire in 2024, with an option for re-election of an additional three-year term,

Ian Gumprecht, Warden, for an initial two-year term, to expire in 2023.

We thank Jay Aston, Sarah Blundin, and Wayne Chambless, for their service, as they rotate off the Vestry.
Nominations from the congregation at large may be made in writing in accordance with St John’s By-Laws, which require that the nominations be supported in writing by 5 parishioners and be submitted to the Nominating Committee no later than April 22, 2021. At the Annual Meeting additional nominations from the floor also will be entertained.
Sincerely,
Fr. Mark L. Fitzhugh
Mo. Catherine Wieczorek
Jay Aston, Warden
Stephanie Clark, Warden

In loving memory of Susan Wittig

In the sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal life
Fr. Mark & Mother Catherine would like to inform the parish of the death of Susan Wittig, mother of Vestry Member Sarah Blundin. Please keep Sarah, Chris, Maggie and Katie in your prayers.
"Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before whom live all who die in the Lord: Receive our sister Susan into the courts of your heavenly dwelling place. Let her heart and soul now ring out in joy to you, O Lord, the living God, and the God of those who live. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen."
