November 30, 2022

Dear SFX Parents,

It is the time of year when the weather is changing and the temperatures are dropping. As the weather gets colder and the snow falls we will have more vehicular traffic at drop-off and pick-up.  Below are our traffic procedures. Safety is a top priority, please review these procedures, so that everyone can have a safe and timely drop off.

It is important that everyone pulls up as far as they can in the church parking lot and in front of the school on Waiola, children should never be dropped off from the driving lane on Waiola only along the curb, children need to be ready to exit the car and please drive slowly. Parents should never leave their parked cars at drop-off or pick-up, students should walk to and from their cars so that cars can continue to move. The only exception is our preschool families who get dismissed 5 mins early and arrive 5 minutes later. Many times the LaGrange Police Department is outside during these times and enforce village traffic ordinances, including leaving your parked car.

If you are dropping your child off late, please come through the front office. Unity Hall doors will be locked at 8:10am and preschool doors will be locked at 8:15am. Thank you for your cooperation.

Peace,

Sharon M. Garcia, Principal
