Snoopy has been a beloved Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade fixture, appearing as Snoopy the Aviator, Astronaut, Flying Ace, and more throughout the years. This year, Macy's is celebrating Beagle Scout Snoopy's 50th anniversary by debuting a new balloon in the 2023 event. At 55' tall and 42' long, Snoopy and Scout Woodstock will float the parade route on Thursday, November 23rd! Will you be watching?

Council’s highest volunteer recognition, the Silver Beaver Award, will be awarded to five highly deserving Scouters who have made a huge impact in the lives of youth through their hard work, self-sacrifice, and years of dedicated service.
