After completing her secondary education and gaining admission to Kamuzu College of Nursing, Rosemary’s celebration was short-lived. She was in tears, thinking of how to pay for college. At the time, AGE Africa hadn't launched our Post-Secondary Scholarship Program. Instead, we provided alumnae with a small starter package that included a small stipend and assistance completing loans or other scholarship applications. Through these combined efforts, Rosemary received her loan, and AGE Africa covered her university living expenses.

Rosemary is graduating this summer with outstanding academic performance. She is well on her way to improving her community through her work as a nurse. We are proud of Rosemary for leading the way for other AGE Africa scholars determined to become college graduates.
