Thanksgiving Vespers Worship Friday November 17, 7:00 pm

"Give thanks to the Lord for He is good! His love endures forever!" You're invited to join us for a special time of worship as we sing songs of thanksgiving and take a moment to reflect and give thanks for all that the Lord has done.

Discipleship / Confirmation Intensive

On Saturday, November 4 our D/C class (Roman, Elena, Jack) joined together in their 1st intensive. The focus of the day was on worship. We began our time in the Crosstown Sanctuary as we looked at Biblical teaching on worship (Psalm 95, 150, Isaiah 58).  This was followed by a road trip!  We visited 4600 Columbus, Mpls (site of a racial injustice in 1931) as well as the Cathedral of St. Paul.  Special thanks to Bonnie Overcott for joining in this adventure as well as the D/C mentors (Jim Fischer, Wayne Berfeldt, Bonnie) who joined us for lunch at Berry Sweet Kitchen!
Living Nativity 2023
Shining Crosstown for Christmas!  Living Nativity is around the corner, and we are excited to invite our neighborhood and friends to hear the story of Christmas! Live animals, crafts for kids and Christmas treats!
Save the date! Wednesday, December 13, 6-8pm. Interested in helping with big picture planning? Talk with Pastor Polly Inestroza (polly@crosstowncovenant.org).
Generosity Toward Our Neighbors!
Join us as we are generous with our neighbors this holiday season. Crosstown will be collecting gift cards to Walmart and Target in the amounts of $25 and $50. Gift cards will be delivered to our neighborhood schools (Keewaydin and Wenonah) to be distributed to families in need over the holiday season. Collection begins Sunday, November 19.
Custodian Update

We are sad to pass along the news that Randall Thaden has resigned his position as Custodian.  We want to thank him for his service over the last 8 years.  Our search team for a new custodian includes: Bob Weides, Deacon of Properties; Mark Ogawa, Church Chair, & Pastor John.  If you know anyone interested in serving as Crosstown Custodian for 12-15 hours/week, direct them to contact Pastor John Jacobi (pastorjohn@crosstowncovenant.org).
Nokomis East Food Distribution

On November 9 we served 90 families–315 total people–a total of 2,490 #’s of food. There were 19 volunteers who served a total of 47 hours.
Upcoming dates to serve are November 22 and December 13 (Click on link to sign-up)
Finance Update - September ‘23
As we look at the numbers noted below, we are encouraged to note that our budget is actually the “financial form” of our shared mission.  Will you pray for God’s provision in our financial life?  Will you be bold enough to ask Jesus how He would have you respond?
