Prepare for Spring Registration with Schedule Ahead
Schedule Ahead, the feature that allows you to being building your schedule for the next term before your registration period, opened for the spring term on February 15. Check your DrexelOne Academics tab to plan out your schedule and find your assigned time ticket to actually register for courses.
Pass / No Pass Deadline
The deadline to change to P/NP for winter term courses is Saturday, March 20. There are many factors to consider before choosing the Pass / No Pass grading option. Students should review the
Pass / No Pass FAQ and schedule a talk with their academic advisors no later than the week of March 15 before making a decision.
Student Paper Competition Opportunity
The American National Standards Institute has announced its annual Student Paper Competition. This year’s theme is the use of standards in the global fight against COVID-19 and students are asked to explore the use, or absence, of standards in response to the pandemic. Students enrolled full- or part-time during the period of September 2020 to April 2021 are eligible to submit a paper for consideration. Cash prizes will be given to first- and second-place winners. Special Topics Class in Bio-Inspired Design
All CoE students sophomore and up are invited to consider a special topics class in bio-inspired design. Led by Eugenia Victoria Ellis, PhD (CAEE), this class meets simultaneously with students in Milan, Italy. Through case studies, students will discover techniques to incorporate the natural environment into design of the built environment and will translate this knowledge into new knowledge, inventions and design strategies.
