Spiritual Reflection
“Failure is a reality; we all fail at times, and it’s painful when we do. But it’s better to fail while striving for something wonderful, challenging, adventurous, and uncertain than to say, ‘I don’t want to try because I may not succeed completely.’”
Jimmy Carter

Wisdom
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. (James 1:5)
James 1:5 should have a big impact on our financial lives. As a Christ follower, wisdom from the heavens is far more important than anything man could ever come up with. In times of trial and difficulties, we seek wisdom from Him just like James did. No financial strategy or solution can trump what God and His word can reveal.

Fill “Our” Bus with Love for the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home
Several months ago, one of our Small Groups took a field trip to visit the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, Florida. What began as a pleasurable day trip ended with a passion in this group's hearts to do more than a Fifth Sunday offering for the kids.
Through February 15, there will be a display in the East Narthex. Part of the display will consist of decorated boxes for you to donate needed items and gifts to the children. Please see the list of items below. Our filled church bus will make its delivery to the children’s home the end of February. Please help to “Fill the Bus with Love” for the children!
Your generosity is greatly appreciated, but, please, NEW items only. Thank you.

You will gain deeper insight into the Biblical world, including a fresh perspective on familiar Bible stories, you will discover the Bible through the lens of Middle Eastern Culture, and you will understand Jesus more fully and fuel your worship of Him. Facilitated by Charlene English.

We “Care”
Recently we have had several hospitalizations or procedures that we found out about after the event. Our Care department truly wants to care for our congregants and extended community, but we cannot do that without your help! Please contact the church if you or someone in your household is having a procedure, surgery, or hospitalization. We would also appreciate you having a good friend or neighbor designated if you encounter an emergency.
