NATIONAL NIGHT OUT- A SUCCESS!
National Night Out and the Community Concert in the Park
Summer fun mid-week! The Concert in the Park featuring That 80's Band brought out hundreds of Sterling Ranch residents to enjoy a night of music, food and fun! It was also National Night Out which is a national event to promote police and community partnerships. Sterling Ranch residents enjoyed getting to meet the local deputies and sheriff who keep the community safe. There were lots of appreciation cheers from those in the crowd for our Douglas County Sheriff's department!

LAST WEEKEND for the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo - July 31- August 8
A family tradition for the residents of Douglas County. Whether you're looking for live entertainment, family fun, delicious treats, livestock shows or bronco bustin', you'll find at all at the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo! The Carnival runs all weekend beginning at 11am and closes at 10pm. Enjoy the last fair before school starts! The Fair's Event Schedule is available here.
THE OVERLOOK UPDATES
The Overlook Clubhouse has had a wonderfully busy first full pool season and as the new school year approaches, the pool may be a bit quieter during the day. Our lifeguards are going back to school too and the hours they are on duty, change as well. Effective August 5th - September 6th, please note there will be new lifeguard hours. They are as follows:

Monday - Friday:
Lap swim: 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Open swim: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Lifeguards hours: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Saturday:
Open swim: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Lifeguard hours: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday:
Open swim: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Lifeguard hours: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

When lifeguards are not on duty, Swim at Your Own Risk.

Study Space Available- Speaking of the new school year, did you know that you can use our space and free wifi for studying, meeting with a tutor, test prep, or a quiet space to start those college essays.
CONCRETE WARRANTY WORK
The latest Concrete Warranty work is occurring in Filing 2, Phase 1 and will be performed next week. The streets that are affected are Eagle River, Plateau Creek Lane and Fraser River Circle. Advanced Concrete is the contractor and they will be notifying the homeowners of homes that will be affected. Work begins Monday, August 9th - Friday, August 14th.
SIDEWALK CHASE DRAIN NEWS
At it's recent meeting the CAB Board adopted a policy regarding the Installation of Private Chase Drains in the Public Right of Way. With the passage of this new policy the staff has created procedures for the installation of these sidewalk Chase Drains that can now be provided to the residents. For those that have an interest in sidewalk Chase Drains and have filled out an interest form, the CAB will be contacting you this upcoming week and sending you the packet of information. If you have not filled out a form but you are interested in possibly installing a sidewalk Chase Drain then please go to the Sterlingranchcab.com website and fill out a form so we may get in contact with you.
