Dear Daves Avenue Families,
Thank you to ALL students, staff, and families for your support this week while adjusting to our new drop-off and pick-up procedures on campus. If your mode of transportation to school is a vehicle, TK-3 students should be dropped off in the Oak Tree drop-off area and students and/or families should walk through the archway at Oak Tree to use the crosswalk. Students in grades 4-5 should be dropped off in the Poppy drive-through. Please remember that TK-3 students should not be encouraged to walk to Oak Tree to meet parents after school. If parent(s) park in the Oak Tree parking lot, please walk across the street and meet your child in the front of school. Thank you for your support!
PAWS Club April 2022
This morning we had a virtual Wednesday Wave assembly where we introduced the theme of INTEGRITY for the month of April. Specifically, we will focus on the importance of attitude, behavior, and making good decisions. If you are looking for ways to expand this conversation at your dinner table, your family might consider making a list of what you say and what you do to promote positive values. You are the most important role model in your child’s life!

Thanks to our amazing Student Council student leaders and teacher liaisons, our Lost & Found items have been placed on the blacktop. Please encourage your child to look for any lost items before this Friday, April 8, when the items will be donated. Next week is our Spring Recess and I wish you and your family a lovely week of relaxation and good health. I look forward to welcoming our Cool Cats back to campus on Monday, April 18.

The Daves Auction Committee is soliciting donations for our upcoming Auction in April. If you have a pair of tickets, an unused gift card, or other fun items/experiences to share for our upcoming Silent Auction, please reach out to: bob_lapcevic@yahoo.com
Also, please consider donating a nice bottle of wine to the auction’s wine pull (should be a $30+ bottle that you would give as a gift). Not a wine collector? She will pick up your donations at drop off/pick up or from your porch OR you can drop donations on her porch in downtown LG if that is more convenient.
