Our Special Community
Maybe it's because of the amazing Maine Summer we're having, but it's become even more apparent that we live and work in a uniquely special community. In addition to all the "greatest hits" of our region that we love to tell visitors about here at the Chamber, here's three less-discussed aspects of the Biddeford & Saco region that we find particularly great:

  • Our Entrepreneurial Ecosystem - above and beyond all the excitement of the many recent new openings and developments, it's especially noteworthy to see how supportive and welcoming everyone is of new businesses, and their willingness to collaborate with each other

  • Our Forward-looking Residents - we have so many people working on go-forward challenges like next-generation housing and infrastructure requirements (schools, water management, etc.), and climate change ... every long journey starts with initial steps, and lots of folks are making those here every day in addition to all the economic momentum we've been experiencing

  • Our Inclusive Culture - we have numerous events and activities that celebrate the many cultural, culinary and artistic traditions represented in our community and reinforce how embracing diversity is an important asset and engine for growth locally

What do you love about Biddeford & Saco? Let us know, we'd love to hear from you!
