Happy Volunteer Appreciation Month!
We are extremely excited to begin this season by honoring each and every one of you for all of your hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving our patients. The growth in this department has been absolutely incredible, and it's all thanks to you! Hundreds of you showed up to help bake, cook, serve meals for our patients, facilitate patient activities, play bingo, and tour our neighborhood last month. We couldn't be more grateful for everything you have done and continue to do for Christ House seven days a week and on holidays.
This month, our patients enjoyed the cherry blossoms near Capitol Hill, played basketball, visited the
National Museum of African American History, stretched in yoga class, and made beautiful works of art. On the second floor, our patients continued to rest, heal, and receive excellent medical care from our extremely dedicated staff members.
