It is happening in Coffeyville and all across the nation. Businesses are understaffed and can't find help. While we can't force people to go back to work, there are a few strategies you can use to combat common hiring problems.

I am a firm believer on helping them focus on what it is about the job that makes it attractive/different. Do you have special benefits? Flexibility in your hours? Family friendly? Sign on bonus or pay increases first year? A back to work bonus might be the special nudge needed. What else makes it a great work environment? Read this article on 3 more strategies.

J&J Vaccine Paused
CDC & FDA release a joint statement that the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine has been paused for usage at this time. Further review and information will be coming shortly. Moderna and Pfizer doses are still widely available in the county.

USD 445 is doing something a little extra for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5th) and they need donations from local businesses to show support for our teachers. RMS Mock Interview Day
Help Needed from local businesses! This event will expose our students to a real life interview experience.  Your role will be to ask the scripted questions and complete a brief evaluation on their performance. Email Samantha at RMS for more details or to sign up.
