Thank you for your continued support!

From our President:

We have had a very eventful month at Stamford Cradle to Career. We were fortunate to host several events to engage and empower families and community partners.

We successfully held our first fully virtual Annual Convening. At this interactive two-day event over 170 individuals got to share their ideas at “In Your Own Voice”. We learned from over 40 different organizations that were represented at the convening with just over half of these being SC2C community partners.

Our work continues in the area of School Culture and Restorative Practices. Along with Norwalk Acts, SC2C held both series of 2 day workshops offering innovative strategies to keep students foster healthy social emotional development.

Stamford Cradle to Career would like to celebrate our very own, Michael Hernandez as the 2022 recipient of the Person to Person, Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship. Michael attends UCONN and is the Co-Chairperson of our High School Transition Community Action Network.

Please support us on February 24th at Fairfield County Community Foundation’s Giving Day. We are committed to continuing to fund opportunities that secure the future of Stamford.

Best,
Edith Presley
