Hi Team!
What a fun time seeing some of our team members race this past weekend! The energy was positive and energetic. We are looking forward to more fun events together as the year progresses.
New information below, we have our TTT 2021 race series planned, so go ahead and plan now for a fun year with your teammates! When registering with Trivium races, don't forget to put your are with the Triad Tri Team when registering, we get points that go towards the Club Cup and we want to win again this year!

Also, below are the events we have planned for March and April, hopefully you can make it out!

Andrew Bruckler
Say "hi" to Andrew!
Meet Andrew, he's been at triathlon for three years after doing his first triathlon in 2018, the N. Myrtle Beach Sprint Trifecta, where he placed 1st in Clydesdale division. Andrew says his favorite race was Challenge Daytona because he used to be in Nascar and would be down there for the races. Then he got to do a triathlon on that historical piece of property. Very cool experience! His training/racing tip would be, "You do not have to spend a lot to have success". Well said Andrew! 
If you see Andrew, be sure to congratulate him on being our AOM!

RECIPE OF THE MONTH

Cake Batter Energy Balls
 
INGREDIENTS
 
 
INSTRUCTIONS
 
  1. Add coconut to food processor and process for 5 mins, scraping down the sides as needed. Alternatively, skip this step and use a 1/4 cup of coconut butter – not coconut oil.
  2. Add in dates in process until broken up into pea-sized bits.
  3. Add in cashews, sea salt, vanilla extract and whey protein.
  4. Process until all ingredients come together. Mixture is done when you can roll dough into balls and they hold their shape.
  5. Add in sprinkles and pulse several times to combine.
  6. Roll into 18 balls and place in the freezer for 15 mins.
  7. Store in the fridge for up to one month.
