Monthly Education, News & Updates - March 8, 2024 | Issue VI

Hello fellow wine enthusiast!

As the Spring is approaching, this time of year always contains a sense of excitement of new wine releases and the possibilities of exciting wine and food experiences.

As I have travelled to all parts of the country in the first 9 weeks of the year, I am encouraged by creative wine lists and unique wine selections, and wine enthusiasts searching for more knowledge. I am also fascinated by the ever-evolving landscape of beverage alcohol as craft cocktails, beers, low alcohol options and non-alcoholic drinks occupy the mindshare of consumers in addition to fine wine.

My Wine Ed Index submission this month was inspired by the dynamic landscape of wine and various styles of winemaking that exist. While we all have wines and regions that we call "favorites", exploring and experiencing wines and wine styles that are new to you can not only increase your knowledge but also provide you with perspective on how they compare to what your used to and why.

Cheers to you in your wine appreciation journey! Appreciate the last weeks of Winter and prepare for many new experiences of the new season.

Cheers,

George
