EVALUATIONS
Thursday, April 22nd at 6 pm, check-in time: 5:30 pm
Hildebrandt Intermediate School, 22800 Hildebrandt Rd, Klein, TX 77389
NOTE: all season practices, skills training and half of the games will be held at Hildebrandt Intermediate School.
Grades 3-8. Everyone must attend evaluations if at all possible!

At check in, players will receive a number to pin on their backs and play a few minutes of 2-on-2 basketball. This allows the coaches to evaluate their skill level before the draft takes place following evaluations (for coaches only).
- Please wear basketball shoes to evaluations.
- Do NOT bring basketballs, backpacks, or bags please. Only closed bottled drink if desired.
- Players temperatures will be taken at check-in. Masks are encouraged for players except when playing.
- At this time, masks are encouraged for all parents/guardians.
- Players are free to go home after they are evaluated.
*If an emergency comes up and you’re not able to attend, you MUST email wcbl@alodiaconsulting.com, subject line ‘WCBL Evaluation Info’, with the following information as soon as possible (no later than Sunday, April 18th). Players cannot be drafted on a team unless a self-assessment is sent!

COACH INFORMATION
3 - 4 Grade Division – need 0 coaches. Thank you Coach Davis, Chavez, and Curtis for volunteering!
5 - 6 Grade Division – need 0 coaches. Thank you Coach Bass, Urrutia and Coach McCullough for volunteering!
7 - 8 Grade Division – need 2 coaches.
CARPOOL REQUESTS
We can no longer guarantee carpool requests for 1st or 2nd round draft picks due to the negative effect on the competitiveness of the league. If both players are in the first 3 rounds, we will work to have practice on the same night but play for a different team. Thank you for your understanding so that the league can continue to deliver a quality experience for everyone.
ROSTERS, TEAM & PRACTICE INFORMATION
You will hear from your coach no later than Sunday evening, April 25th regarding what team you are on and when practices will be. NOTE: all practices will be held at Hildebrandt Intermediate School.
Rosters with team names and practice times will be updated on the SportsEngine app by 5 pm on Sunday, April 25th. A Post-Evaluation email will be sent by Friday, April 23rd with additional information on the app and other season information.
Please bring sanitized basketballs to your team practices. Basketball Size: grades 3-6 play with a 28.5 size basketball, and grades 7-8 play with a 29.5 basketball.
SKILLS TRAINING
For those signed up for skills training in addition to the league, the first skills training will start Tuesday, April 27th at 5:30-6:30 pm at Hildebrandt Intermediate School and continue every Tuesday through May 25th.
NOTE: Team practices will NOT be held on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 pm.
GAME SCHEDULES
Game schedules will be posted on the website by 10 pm, Tuesday, April 27th.
Games for grades 3-8 will be played at Hildebrandt Intermediate School or Salem Community Center. This season is a combined season with Tomball Youth League. REMINDER: all practices will be at Hildebrandt.
All games are on Saturdays:
Regular season schedule includes 4 doubleheader weekends.
First game: Saturday, May 1st
Additional regular season league game dates: May 8, 15, 22
Single elimination playoff tournament: May 28-29
UNIFORMS
Jerseys will be distributed 30 minutes before the 1st game. Each player will receive a reversible jersey with colored print. Home teams wear the lighter color and visitors wear dark color each week.
