Welcome to Archway's December Newsletter. Our theme for this month focuses on Giving, and what we can do to support those in need of our help, which of course is what Archway is all about. Later this month, Georgeanne Barrett, Archway's Director of Philanthropy, shares her thoughts about giving and gratitude and how these two ideas can work together to promote our collective health and wellbeing, In brief, below are a few of the things that we are grateful for at Archway:
- I am pleased to announce that we raised $5,375 through 20 donors on Colorado Gives Day! Thank you to all of the donors who supported us! Our appeal goal of $25,000 will last through the end of the year, so if you didn't get a chance to donate for Colorado Gives Day, you still can donate through our website below.
- On behalf of our residents, Archway received another donation of 500 coats and winter accessories from Coats for Colorado.
- Kenzi's Causes, a local non-profit that supports underprivileged children and their families in Colorado, donated crafts for 200 kids at Archway, replenishing our supplies that always seem to be running low!
- Thank you to the Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning for donating 75 gift cards to Walmart, each at $200, for our families at Arapahoe Green!
We are grateful for all of our partnerships for their support of our work and the way they expand our ability to better serve our residents!
Finally, along with Georgeanne's Thought Leadership piece in two weeks, I am proud to say we will share Archway's Impact Statement for 2022, which summarizes the work we do to create affordable housing communities we provide and the residents we serve.
