Voting for WSD Officers and Approving Our Bylaws
West Side Dems (WSD) will be electing a new chair and vice-chair, as well as voting to approve our new bylaws. The election of officers and changes in the bylaws will be on one ballot.
WHY ARE WE ELECTING A NEW CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR?
Joe Sinico, our chair, resigned from his post. There is a process for electing officers for the vacated chair in accordance with current bylaws. Dorothy has self-nominated for chair. Because her election would create a vacancy, we are also holding an election for Vice Chair. Ivan Pfeifer and Daniel Garcia have self-nominated to be Vice Chair. To self-nominate, send us an email showing your preferred name, desired office, and phone number.
The ballot will be emailed to members in good standing (i.e., dues are paid).
