"It took some worries off my plate..."

"Good morning, I am reaching out to first say thank you so much for the gift cards I received in December. They have helped tremendously during this season. When the social worker at my daughter's school reached out to me about being referred, it took some worries off my plate. Also being able to shop in the grocery store with my daughter and not having to say no, we can't get that this time, has made me feel really good. And I know it has made her happy as well." "Stephanie," emergency food support client

We were so glad to receive this message from Stephanie and hear that the emergency food assistance we provided is making a difference for her and her daughter. We are grateful to everyone who is helping families like Stephanie's put their favorite food on the table, and giving them a break from the difficult choices they can face while they're working through a financial crisis. Thank you!
