CLT 4.0 Launch and New CLT 4.0 Textbook

This Fall, MSSC launched an "Industry 4.0" update of its signature Certified Logistics Technician (CLT®) industry-wide training and certification program applicable to six million front-line supply chain logistics workers.

Based on extensive research with leading industry subject matter experts, MSSC has selected a list of nine rapidly emerging, data-intensive, "Industry 4.0" technologies that will profoundly influence warehouse and supply chain processes and quality control: Cybersecurity, Biometrics, Autonomous Robots, Augmented Reality, Data Analytics, Remote Learning, Artificial Intelligence, 5G, Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT). MSSC has embedded these technologies in its 2022 "Industry 4.0" Edition of its National Logistics Standards and will be fully integrated into CLT curriculum, instructor training and assessments. Updated Industry 4.0 standards has been incorporated into candidate e-learning for both CLA and CLT – can be flexibly integrated into a variety of classroom and training settings to prepare candidates for success with both the assessment and their careers!

New CLA and CLT 4.0 textbooks are also now available for sale. Written for individuals preparing for MSSC CLA 4.0 & CLT 4.0 certification assessments – and for others seeking the latest description of the foundational knowledge needed by both incoming front-line workers (CLA 4.0) and the mid-level knowledge needed by more advanced front-line technicians (CLT 4.0) in today’s sophisticated E-Commerce facilities.

MSSC & Credly Digital Badge Partnership

MSSC has partnered with Credly, the largest online network and delivery platform of digital badges. Credly collaborates with top global training providers, credential issuers, associations and academic institutions that are similarly focused on the power of verified skills.

The MSSC has created electronic badges for all our credentials so certificants can directly access, control and share their verified credentials in both electronic and print format. With one click, certificants can print their personalized credential, suitable for framing or sharing with an employer.

With their verified credential in digital form, certificants now have many new ways to efficiently and securely share this record of their knowledge and skills with current or prospective employers, academic institutions and others. From key social media channels, to direct sharing via e-mail, to the ability to embed a secure link to their MSSC certification in online job applications, MSSC certificants have many more tools to disclose their credential and be discovered by employers.
