  • PlayNAIA eligibility applications will be cancelled for students who are registered for winter or spring 2023, are not yet in line for review and have not completed a task since March 1. 


  • PlayNAIA automatic term for determination changes to Fall 2023.

2023 Legislative Proposals Published

The proposed legislation for 2023 is now available. There are two proposed constitutional amendments and 27 proposed bylaw amendments, potentially affecting a wide range of NAIA regulations. Legislation will be voted on at the Annual Business Meeting on April 3, 2023, as part of the 2023 NAIA National Convention. NAIA-ADA Live Spotlight Webinar

If you missed the NAIA-ADA Live Spotlight Webinar earlier this week, you can find the recording here. The webinar highlighted Arabie Conner from Ottawa University, Chad Briscoe from Grace College, and Dr. Jesse Godding from SAGU, and was moderated by Reagan Rossi from The College of Idaho.

Scholarship Opportunity for Women Leaders in College Sports Institute for Advancement

The NAIA is offering a scholarship for one member to attend the Women Leaders in College Sports Institute for Advancement (IA) on June 25-27, 2023 in Kansas City, Mo. IA is the premier "level one" leadership development program for women in sport. Interested? Complete the application by the April 3 deadline. You must be a member of Women Leaders to apply.

New Title IX Resources

The U.S. Education Department's Office for Civil Rights released new Title IX resources to support equal opportunity in athletics programs. The overview resource provides situational examples that could raise Title IX concerns at any education level. A specialized resource for colleges and universities is also available. The NAIA has additional Title IX resources available here.

2023 National Convention Registration Open

Join the NAIA at the 82nd Annual NAIA National Convention to be held March 30-April 3, 2023 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Convention attendees have numerous opportunities to network with peers, learn through professional development, and hear from association leaders on the progress of the NAIA.
