Movie Discussion Group (adults)

Book Buzz Live on Zoom! (grades 3-5)
Wednesday, May 26 at 7 pm
Kids in grades three to five are invited to join Ms. Glynis and Ms. Joanne for this live One and Done book discussion group! This month, we will be reading The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street, by Karina Yan Glaser, which is available on Hoopla and elibraryNJ.  Email the library at metuchenpubliclibrary@lmxac.org with your child’s name, grade and “Book Buzz” in the subject line. We’ll send you the Zoom meeting link on the morning of the meeting.

Take and Make Craft-ivity Bags (ages 3-6)
Friday, May 28 from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm
Liven up Fridays for your child! Come by the library to pick up a Take & Make Craft-ivity Bag containing a literacy related activity or craft. Just call us when you are here, we'll deliver it to you curbside!. For Metuchen patrons only, while supplies last.

Earth Buddies (ages 3-7)
Every other Monday ( May 17) at 1:00 pm
Join Ms. Joanne for a nature themed story and activity. This pre-recorded program will be uploaded to the Library’s YouTube channel and shared on our Facebook page, no registration required.

Peer Tutoring (grades K-10)
Every Monday through Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm
Peer tutoring is a free service offered by volunteer high school students. They are not specialists but are available to help students. For more information or to register for tutoring, email mwhittington@lmxac.org.

Bookworms with Ms. Glynis (ages 2-3)
Tuesdays at 11 am

Online Tech Help
Every Monday - Thursday from 3:30 to 6:45 pm and Fridays from 3:30 to 4:45 pm
Do you need help with digital gadgets? Do you need help in setting up an email, Zoom or Google account, using a new iPhone or iPad or accessing any of the Library's electronic resources? To set up a free one-on-one appointment, call the library or email mwhittington@lmxac.org.
