Merry Christmas! And welcome to the December 2023 Newsletter...we hope this brief update finds you doing well this holiday season!
This month is busy for us as I'm sure it is for all of you. Gracey graduates from the University of Memphis this coming week and we are preparing to receive our final container shipment in 2024. We decided to hit pause on new releases for December in order to focus on the holidays, the inbound shipment, Gracey's exam schedule and our existing inventory promotion.
Speaking of the inbound shipment...it should have been here already, but it is stuck in Memphis having been selected at random for an extensive Customs exam. This is when we get to pay for extra transportation to an exam site, daily "rental" of the space until they get around to doing the exam...and let's not forget the exam fee. Then we cross our fingers on the damage. When these exams are conducted, we usually lose 20-30 models due to the careless nature of the exam. Oh what fun! So as soon as the shipment arrives, we'll get the orders turned around quickly. Keep your eye on your inbox for tracking if you have a new release on order and thanks for your patience!
We'll resume our new release schedule after the New Year when we'll announce the first museum grade replicas for Ventura County, Ladders for Memphis and PGFD, and another round of Modern KME engines and classic Mack CF towers for FDNY.
