A Note From Father Dan
We have an important announcement about a brand new policy on masks and seating at Masses starting this weekend, May 15 & 16.

We are changing our policy because the CDC announced Thursday that fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks or practice physical distancing.

We have 6 sections of pews in our church, and half will maintain physical distancing and mask wearing and the other half will not.

  • Masks and distancing will NOT be required in the 3 pew sections on the south side of the church near the piano and organ.

  • For those who do still want to maintain physical distancing, the 3 sections of pews to the right of the center aisle toward the confessionals will continue to have ropes on every other pew. We ask that masks be worn by everyone seated in those 3 sections on the north side of church.

  • You may enter through the exterior church doors from the Marian Garden to get directly to the masked seating area if you do not wish to pass unmasked people in the Gathering Space.

  • Masks are optional in the Gathering Space but we will continue to have rows of chairs that are socially distanced.

  • All Eucharistic Ministers will continue to wear masks while distributing Communion.

  • As a reminder, we have bipolar ionization air filters in our ventilation system in the Church and Gathering Space which kills airborne viruses to help keep everyone safe. Hand sanitizers will continue to be available in all pews and at all entrances.

  • If you wish to receive Holy Communion on the tongue, you may now do so after everyone else has received Communion. Both Father John and Father Dan are fully vaccinated and are willing to offer this to anyone who is interested. If you wish to receive Communion on the tongue, please wait until everyone else has received Communion, then come into the priest’s line at the very end.

Again, the seating and mask changes begin this weekend, May 15th and 16th. We'll see how this weekend goes and make adjustments as needed.

I look forward to seeing you at Mass!

In Christ,

Father Dan
