UNMC to require COVID-19 vaccination status documentation
Beginning June 21, the UNMC community will be required to document that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have declined the vaccine. By requiring documentation of vaccine status, UNMC is better able to protect the campus community, including visitors and patients.
Campus leaders strongly encourage unvaccinated individuals to accept vaccination as soon as possible. More information about vaccine appointments is available from the Douglas County Health Department or the relevant local health department in your jurisdiction.

Conversations for Inclusive Excellence: 2pm-3pm
UNMC’s Office of Inclusion invites you to the monthly held ”Conversations for Inclusive Excellence". The 1 hour virtual sessions intend to create a regular space for the UNMC campus community to come together in order to co-create understanding.
In these sessions, we will also facilitate brave and intentional reflective discussions, while setting you up with tools that you can take back to your organizations, offices or departments so that you can continue the dialogue! We intend to engage in meaningful, yet sometimes uncomfortable conversations, so that we can grow, not just individually, but also, as a community.

UNMC SHARING Clinics
The UNMC SHARING clinics are a series of student-run free clinics that aim to serve the Omaha community while also providing valuable educational opportunities for students affiliated with Nebraska Medicine.
We at the SHARING clinics are always searching for new patients and would deeply appreciate any physician, provider, or community advocate who is willing to recommend our services to eligible patients. We feel that the SHARING clinics have only just begun to tap the surface of their potential to help serve the community, and we hope that with your help we can bring better, more accessible care to all of Omaha.
