Delaware Scenic Byways Chosen as Showcase Winners
The National Scenic Byway Foundation (NSBF) has recognized the Brandywine Valley National Scenic, Delaware Bayshore, and Historic Lewes Byways, as the March "Showcase Your Byway" winners!

In our role on the management committees of these byways, Delaware Greenways was one of twelve entries drawn in the contest. The three byways will receive a month of marketing and exposure, including visitor resource information, travel videos and itineraries, social media links and blogs. We're excited to see Delaware receive this national spotlight! Keep an eye out next month to discover more about these treasured scenic byways!

2023 Officers and New Board Members Welcomed
At its January 2023 meeting, Delaware Greenways Board of Directors confirmed its existing Board officers will continue in their roles for another year, Jed Patterson serving as President, David Teague as Vice-President, and Emily Sweeney as Treasurer. President Emeritus Gary Linarducci was elected Secretary.

In addition to installing its officers, the Board welcomed four new members. Peter Bradshaw, Joshua Deshields, Philip Micha, and Damali Thomas, each serving three-year terms. We are thrilled to have these exceptional people join our efforts and thank each for their willingness to serve.

The board recognized Peter Townsend and Portia Yarborough who left the board due to professional obligations. We are extremely grateful for their time, energy, and talents in pursuing our mission. Passionate about our work, we know they’ll continue to stay connected. Thank you and all the best Peter and Portia!

We are so grateful for all of you who were able to donate during our Annual Giving campaign.

Thank you for your generosity! As a 501(c)(3) organization, your support of our Trail and Byway Programs, truly does make a difference to the work we do!

If you missed including us in your year-end giving, our next fundraiser is during Do More 24 Delaware, March 2nd - 3rd. Donations are needed and welcomed any time of year! Donate here
