New Intra-Campus Shuttle Pilot

Working with our partners at the Newmarket Business Improvement District (NBID), the Albany/East Newton Street Shuttle will connect the Medical Student Residence at 815 Albany St. and Medical Campus buildings by following a continuous route and stops, Monday-Friday from 5-11 a.m. and 4 p.m.-midnight with approximate 16-minute service frequencies.

As with all of the other NBID shuttles, this shuttle can be tracked along the route by downloading the BusWhere for Newmarket BID app (for iOS and Android).

W Building Construction Project Update

Week of Nov. 20

Crews will continue demolition of air handler 4, installation of piping and conduit and begin erecting roof steel. There will be no work on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 23; work will resume Friday, Nov. 24. Occupants can expect similar levels of impact as last week.

Auxiliary Power Shutdown:

There will be a 3-hour auxiliary power shutdown Tuesday, Nov. 21, from 4-7 a.m., and a tentative 2-hour shutdown Wednesday, Nov. 22, from 5-7 a.m.

These shutdowns will affect all red-faced plugs throughout the W Building. The team has been making accommodations to provide normal power to identified equipment throughout the W Building to mitigate any interruptions. The team asks occupants of W Building to NOT open any -80° freezers or walk-in coolers from 5-7 a.m. If you experience any issues during the shutdowns, please contact control at 617-358-4144.

If you have questions/concerns, please contact Dylan McIntosh.
