FEBRUARY 11, 2022 NEWSLETTER

How can you help? Attend Tuesday's Board Meeting!

Plan to be at the next HPISD Board Meeting on Tuesday night, February 15th*. The public comments and business meeting will begin at 5:30, but we suggest arriving prior to the presentation at 5:00 in order to find a seat.

Literacy is on the agenda at the request of Bryce Benson and Doug Woodward.

Based on recent HP Literacy Coalition meetings with HPISD leaders, it is unlikely that the subcommittee will be able to reach consensus about concerns with literacy. A full board vote is expected this spring, and parent attendance at board meetings is crucial for trustees to see that parents believe change is necessary.
