Volunteer of the Week
Jaedyn LaBrec is our Volunteer of the Week!

Jaedyn, a teenager, began volunteering with Lucky 7 Dog Rescue when she was in 7th grade, and ever since, she has helped build their youth volunteer program, gotten her family involved as a dog foster home, and assisted in spreading awareness about volunteerism and animal advocacy at her school and online via social media. She and her mom have run Lucky 7's open hours during the summer, and Jaedyn has helped with their kid's camp as a junior counselor. She brings her bubbly personality to so many aspects of the rescue, and, though still a young lady, she amazes people with her maturity, politeness, and professionalism.

One of the best things Jaedyn has done for Lucky 7 is bond with other youth volunteers. At their kid's camp, the children flock to her and want to know more about animals, rescuing, and volunteering. She has set an example for these kids and shown them that people can bring about positive change no matter their age. During her time volunteering with Lucky 7, she has learned a great deal about body language in animals, how to interact with them in stressful situations to keep them comfortable, and how to make a difference for each person or animal she interacts with. Thank you, Jaedyn, for your dedication to Lucky 7 Dog Rescue and to encouraging others to make a positive difference in our community!
