Maureen Awarded TCB 100 Award!

During the 2022 annual Twin Cities Business Top 100 event, Maureen Scallen Failor was awarded the distinguish award. The TCB 100 is considered the “little black book” of influencers, thought leaders and key players likely to make news or drive change in the year ahead. Not just in business but in key government and philanthropic roles that affect the business community.

Department of Management and Budget Released

The Department of Management and Budget released on December 6, 2022, the November budget forecast, showing an estimated surplus of $17.6 billion. This is a truly historic surplus, which we can utilize to lower costs around childcare/healthcare, fund education, and more. We have an opportunity to accomplish a great deal for Dakota County and the State of Minnesota.

Chamber members started out the morning with a Coffee Break at Chapter Aesthetic Studio. Chapter is a leading aesthetic studio providing evidence-based, non-surgical and cosmetic treatments made to make your beautiful happen. Chapter was named for the owner's "next chapter" after their original studio grew and was bought by another company, therefore making it a new Chapter. It is also a reference to a customer’s next chapter or story. They are the leading supplier of Botox, which gives them the opportunity to offer it at rates other companies can’t provide.

Young Professionals Get Together

Join the Young Professionals Network for an end-of-year gathering at Can Can Wonderland! There will be food, refreshments, cash bar, unlimited arcade games, and mini golf available! Come out and get to know other East Metro young professionals or bring a friend or colleague! The event is Wednesday, December 14, and is in conjunction with the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce.

Interested in developing our region's future workforce and rising leaders? Looking to share your professional experience, and expand the bandwidth of your team? TriDistrict CAPS, a collaborative workforce development and career exploration program, developed by the school districts of Inver Grove Heights, South St. Paul, and West St. Paul - Mendota Heights - Eagan, that has an opportunity for you and your organization. After spending the fall semester exploring careers and honing their professional skills, juniors and seniors from Simley, South St. Paul, and Two Rivers High Schools are looking for internship and/or volunteering opportunities to continue to expand their skill sets and bring value to area businesses. 2023 AUDL Championship at TCO Stadium

Viking Lakes is excited to share they will be hosting the 2023 AUDL Championship at TCO Stadium on the Viking Lakes Campus! The American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) will hold its 2023 Championship Weekend on August 25-26, 2023.

Farmington - Hygiene Drive for Caring Heart

You are invited to drop off donations for the city’s annual drive. They believe that everyone deserves kindness and the basic essentials in life. Their mission is to "Care for our neighbors, one person at a time."

Farmington “Toys for Town”

Toys for Town is an annual toy drive organized by the Farmington Police Department to help make the holiday season special for children in our community. The program provides local families a holiday meal kit and gifts for their children (last year they provided toys to 400 children from 120 families). Along with the toy drive they are bringing back the “Art for Every Kid” initiative.
