Celebrate Black History

February is Black History Month, and we want to share activities you can engage in at home and school.

We held our Black History Month Flag Ceremony in late January, and our talented student council researched and presented inspirational Black Americans to the Vessels community. Their photos and biographies are displayed in front of the MPR throughout the month!

We also have a fantastic array of culturally relevant books on display in the media center, ready to be read and enjoyed!

You can also review the Celebrating Black History Month with PBIS kids site. While there, you can access videos, books, art, and other fun activities to engage with at home!

We look forward to celebrating all month!

Oratorical Contest

Vessels Elementary School invites students in Grades 2-6 to participate in the 2024 Oratorical Contest! This fantastic opportunity allows young speakers to showcase their public speaking talents and compete for amazing prizes. Participants will refine their skills with dedicated coaches. Friendship Grams

Friendship grams are available all week at first recess in room 24, rain or shine! They are one dollar each. Proceeds go to the Vessels PBIS program! Delivery the week of 2/12!
