Dear Chamber members,
Happy fall! Fall is a beautiful time of year for Fennimore and all of Southwest Wisconsin. On your next drive to or from work, soak in the colors of fall and appreciate the farmers during harvest. Open your windows and feel the fall air and get some pumpkins from one of the many locations in town. We live in a beautiful area. Let's take the time to enjoy it. :) Have a great day!

|
|
The Fennimore Fire Department is excited to host OktoberFest on Saturday, October 9 at the Fire Department on 8th Street.
- McGregor Fun Bags will be running a bean bag tournament at $20/team with an 80% pay out. The tournament will be double elimination and bags will be provided. All levels are welcome. Registration will take place at 11:30 am and bags will fly at noon.
- Beer, brats, burgers, and hot dogs will be available all day.
- The Guttenberg German Band will perform from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and a DJ will follow.
- You won’t even have to miss the Badger game, they’ll have it featured on the TV!
- Gun raffle tickets are available by contacting any member of the Fire Department. Photos and descriptions of available guns can be found on the Fennimore Fire Dept. Facebook page. They will also be hosting a silent auction.
OktoberFest is their fundraiser for this year. We encourage you to come out and support this group of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to protect our community. When most people would do anything they can to escape a fire, these are the people who are running in. They don’t get paid to do what they do, and they are taking time away from their own families to protect others. Let’s show them our appreciation and support them with this fun event. We hope to see you all there!
