Important Reminders for the Spring Election
Please note that the polling place for the Spring Election on Tuesday, April 6 will be at Lodi City Hall, 130 South Main Street. The polls will be open from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm.

If you receive an absentee ballot, please return it as soon as possible. Returning your ballot before Election Day helps to ensure your vote counts! If there are problems with your ballot, the Clerk will then have time to contact you to correct any errors.

  • Now - March 17: Register to vote by mail or online.
  • March 18 - April 2: Voters can register to vote at the municipal clerk's office at City Hall during normal business hours. Voters may also register to vote on election day at the polls.
  • March 23 - April 2: In-person absentee voting will be available at Lodi City Hall, 130 South Main Street. Hours for voting will be 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. You will need to present an acceptable form of photo ID.

Citywide Spring Cleanup - June 16

The City of Lodi is hosting a citywide cleanup of bulk items on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 for City residents who utilize garbage/recycling services from Columbia County Solid Waste.

Electronic items not available for disposal through the Citywide Spring Cleanup can be recycled at the City of Lodi Public Works 2021 Recycling Event on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 249 Water Street in Lodi.
Electric Meter Upgrade
In the upcoming months, you may see a line worker from Lodi Utilities in your yard swapping out your electric meter. The process is very quick and there should be no power outage in your home. Lodi Utilities will NOT be setting up appointments for this meter replacement. If you have questions, please call 592-3246.

Energy Assistance

Are you having trouble paying your electric bill? You may qualify for energy assistance. Customers can now apply for the 2020-2021 heating season. If your bills leave you feeling overwhelmed, please call 1-800-506-5596.


Lodi Utilities Senior Scholarship
Lodi Utilities and our wholesale power provider, WPPI Energy, will be awarding two $500 scholarships to Lodi High School Seniors whose parent/guardian is a residential customer of Lodi Utilities and plans on continuing their education. Applications must be returned to Lodi Utilities, located in City Hall by Friday, March 26, 2021.
Dog License
Dog licenses are due on March 31, 2021. All dogs licensed after this time will be charged a $5 late fee.
Save to Give Program Raises Money for Local Charities
Focus on Energy, the statewide energy efficiency program, selected Lodi Utilities to participate in a new and unique program: Save to Give. Save to Give offers residents the opportunity to save energy in their home while earning up to $25,000 for a local charity.

There are two weeks to go in the current challenge period. So far 106 residential customers have signed up raising $5400 for 3 local charities. If another 44 sign up in the next 2 weeks, a bonus $1200 will be added in addition to what the residents raise through their energy savings actions . Sign up today!
