Whether you’ve been with us every step of the way or have just joined, we truly appreciate having you in our community.

Holiday Assistance Programs

During the holiday season, organizations across San Diego offer programs that help make the holidays possible for those who would otherwise not be able to celebrate.

To include your holiday assistance events in the next CIE newsletter and on the 211 San Diego database, please send details to the 2-1-1- San Diego Resource Team by email at resourcecenter@211sandiego.org by December 10, 2023.

Volunteers Needed

WeAllCount Point in Time (PITC)

The WeAllCount Point-in-Time (PITC) serves the purpose of conducting a one-night census of individuals experiencing homelessness in our community during the month of January. This count provides an excellent opportunity to increase awareness of homelessness and to spark action. The next data collection will be Thursday, January 25th, from 4:00 AM - 8:00 AM.

The San Diego Regional Task Force on Homelessness is also looking for volunteers. For 2024, volunteers will have the opportunity to support by volunteering at 1 of 42 sites across the San Diego Region.

Open Enrollment for Medi-cal and Covered California

Open Enrollment is from November 1, through January 31, 2024.

Medi-Cal and Covered California use the same application. After entering a client's information, they will find out whether they qualify for Medi-Cal or Covered California.

UPCOMING MEETINGS

CIE Partner Gathering

The CIE Partner Network works to improve the overall service delivery system for clients. Our meeting provides a forum for partners to share updates about ongoing CIE Initiatives, share trends in our community, and collaborate on how we as a network are leveraging our partnership, data sharing, and the CIE technology platform to address the social determinants of health and increase health equity.

Join us for a range of content. Each month, we may dive into the latest technology projects, elicit feedback on the platform’s care coordination tools, or spotlight programs and supports for unique populations. The partner gathering is a space to engage with peers across our shared network. Join us on the 4th Thursday of every month (except November and December) at 9:00 am via Zoom.
