Join us at a community networking event, career fair in Carson on March 7
We are excited to announce a full day of community networking at the Carson Event Center on Thursday, March 7. Please join us for one or both events.

This event offers the opportunity for construction industry professionals to learn about upcoming RFQ bid opportunities and potential collaborations related to our proposed Pure Water Southern California program. We anticipate awarding multiple contracts for the progressive design-build of our
$2 billion advanced water purification facility in Carson by the end of 2024, including at least 25% of those awards for small business and disabled veteran business participation.

Following the MetWorks event, Metropolitan will host a career and apprenticeship fair for individuals seeking careers in the construction industry. Attendees will learn about apprenticeship readiness programs, trade union opportunities and career development pathways.

A partnership between the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and the
