In partnership with Hokie Wellness, VT Dining, Schiffert Health Center, Cook Counseling, Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise, Hokie Fuel, and more, we are celebrating Body Matters Week from April 5th - 9th.
All week long there will be virtual and in-person events on topics related to your body such as Nurturing a Healthy Relationship with Food workshop, Your Eyes Are Your Windows Drawing Session, Eating Disorders and Body Image Screening, and more. The Women's Center will be at 1 of 2 Ask a Professional events on campus, Thursday, April 8th from 11am to 2pm on Eggleston Quad. 
Body Matters Podcast Episode
On this episode of Gen(der) Ed, we are joined by Laurie Fritsch, Assistant Director at Hokie Wellness, Taylor Welch, Health Education and Awareness Team Peer Educator, and Riley David, Health Education and Awareness Team Peer Educator and Sorority Body Project student coordinator. They talk with us about body image and eating concerns, body acceptance and neutrality, how to support a friend, and more.

Celebrate Pride Week
Join us as we talk with Dr. Bingham, Director for the Virginia Tech LGBTQ+ Resource Center. She shares the importance of having a Resource Center for our Queer students, faculty, and staff, as well as why celebrating and honoring days and weeks for this community is so important.
