Why Buy Local?
Danielle Bee of Half Moon Blooms at 901 Kearsarge Mtn Rd says: Did you know that OVER 80% of flowers in the US are imported from South American countries? In many cases there is no standard for fair pricing or chemical use. So, not only are they less fresh flowers, the carbon footprint of this process is depressing. Consider supporting local, SUSTAINABLE farmers!
In addition to arrangements at Danielle's farm stand or ordered in advance, fresh Warner flowers are available from Kearsarge Gore Farm, at Farmer's Market on Saturdays, and at Warner Public Market, and don't forget the Lavender Fields on Pumpkin HIll!
