Invite your friends/loved ones to Mass! Sunday Mass schedule in English is at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 5 PM. Mass in Spanish is at 12:30 PM.

The Archdiocese of Chicago has issued a statement that, in accordance with the city, masks will now be required at all liturgies, including Masses. You can read the statement here.

Saturday Morning Playgroup
Fellowship, Faith and Fun! A new initiative starting on Saturday mornings. Families are invited to bring their toddlers and young kids to Festival Hall (below the church) to play and spend time with other St Al's families. Please bring any toys your kids would like to play with and enter through the West door closest to the parking lot (by the Mary Altar). Saturdays 8:30 AM-10:30 AM. Become An Altar Server! 
We are offering another training for students fourth grade and up who would like to become altar servers. The training will be this Tuesday, February 8 from 6:15 -7:30 PM in the church. Children who are trained to become altar servers will be able to serve on Sundays and school Masses. Experienced servers can also serve at weddings and funerals (which includes a $10 stipend). If this training time isn’t convenient, please feel free to reach out to me to discuss other options. Thanks for considering it! - Fr. Men of the parish are invited to Communio, a men’s group that gathers each Wednesday evening from 8 – 9 PM in the Rectory to pray and chant Vespers (evening prayer), followed by a time of conversation and fellowship.

The love between two people is a gift from God. Assist those getting married in their special day! St. Alphonsus is looking to expand our Wedding Coordinator ministry. There is very little training involved and coordinators receive a stipend per wedding. For more information, please contact Sacraments coordinator, Kaitlin Holyk.

Join Indoor Volleyball League at St. Alphonsus
Join us for the annual St. Al’s/Catholic Sports Leagues 6-on-6 co-ed indoor volleyball league starting February 17th! Games will be played in the St. Alphonsus gym on Thursday nights from 2/17 through 5/5 and every team is guaranteed at least 8 matches. Sign-Ups for the Youth Free Throw shooting contest, are now live. Registration is open to all area boys and girls ages 9 to 14; no Parish or Alphonsus Academy affiliation is required. Sponsored by St. Alphonsus KoC council; please join us in bringing more family and youth friendly events to our Parish and community! This event will take place in the parish gym on Sunday, February 27 from 1 to 4 PM.

On Friday, March 4 the Knights of Columbus will be hosting a night of reflection for all the men of St. Alphonsus parish from 7:00-8:30 PM. The evening will begin with Stations of the Cross in church and then be followed by a reflection and a social in the Festival Hall afterwards. All men of the parish are invited to come kick off Lent with this time of prayer and fellowship. Be A Volunteer Missionary
With Young Life
 
Young Life is looking for Catholic volunteer missionaries to help represent and serve Catholic students in Chicago. Young Life is an ecumenical evangelization organization sharing the gospel with teens in Chicago. Young Life focuses on outreach and accompaniment for teens through authentic friendship between youths and mentors. Mentors become actively involved in the lives of students by meeting them "where they are at" through coffee hangouts, "club", small groups, and camps. Young Life "missionaries" typically work full-time jobs and volunteer with students outside of work. Contact us to learn more/get involved.
