Airport Partners With Indian River County Fire Rescue and Vero Beach Police Department for Joint
Safety Training Exercise
On February 4, 2022, the Vero Beach Regional Airport, the Indian River County Fire Rescue (IRCFR), and the Vero Beach Police Department held a joint training exercise at the airport. This annual training exercise helps prepare first responders and airport personnel to respond to various emergencies which occur within the community. During this training, a mobile airplane burn simulator was used in a controlled setting. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Dyer Family Set to Build New Hangar at VRB
We're thrilled to announce that the Dyer family will be building a general aviation hangar at Vero Beach Regional Airport for the storage of aircraft and office space. The hangar will be approximately 12,000 square feet. The Dyer's own and operate automobile dealerships in Indian River, St. Lucie, and Polk county including Dyer Chevrolet, Dyer Mazda, and Dyer Subaru in Vero Beach. They contribute significantly to the community with their monthly Dyer Difference Award. Through the Dyer Difference Award they have supported many non-profit organizations including the United Way of Indian River County, the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Police Athletic League (PAL), and many others.
