Airport Partners With Indian River County Fire Rescue and Vero Beach Police Department for Joint
Safety Training Exercise
On February 4, 2022, the Vero Beach Regional Airport, the Indian River County Fire Rescue (IRCFR), and the Vero Beach Police Department held a joint training exercise at the airport. This annual training exercise helps prepare first responders and airport personnel to respond to various emergencies which occur within the community. During this training, a mobile airplane burn simulator was used in a controlled setting. Thank you to everyone who participated!
