Dear Rockford Reformed Church Family and Friends,

Ruth and I have returned from a two-week break where we were refreshed through connecting with family/friends and some touring through the mountains. We were glad for the break, and I am still getting my bearings a bit, but also now glad to get going again with the work that centers around our vision. 

I don’t have much to share at this point but want to share that after beginning to develop some symptoms last night, Mike Fisk tested positive for COVID this morning. There may be a few of you who had some brief exposure yesterday morning and will want to be cautious if you develop any symptoms. You are also encouraged to pray for healing and protection for Mike and his family.

Thank you for your prayers for Ruth and me while we were away. We look forward to gathering with you all again on Sunday. I would guess that you will be hearing at least a couple of stories from our time away.
