Dear Serra Parents and Guardians,
We are in our final weeks of our school year and there is a synergy that we are all enjoying as we are finally together as a Padre community. Today, we had the highlight of welcoming 150 seniors on campus for our annual senior luncheon and raffle. We raffled off more than 20 prizes and enjoyed a socially-distanced lunch together as a class on the Serra blacktop. A 65-inch television was raffled off to winner CJ Weseloh, as well as numerous Door Dash gift cards, Apple Air Pods, VISA gift cards and more. It was wonderful to see our Padres celebrating their upcoming graduation milestone together.
ARC students today also experienced the tradition of signing their college pennants, celebrating the huge strides each senior has made since coming to Serra.
There is so much to celebrate these days. Our Tri-School Productions just completed another impressive virtual performance of Shrek: The Musical and senior prom was a huge success. Many sports teams began playoffs this week and we are excited to see these student-athletes continue to play their sports well into June. While the year began with uncertainty, we are happy to see that our Padres are making the very best of the now, an ultimate display of resilience. We look forward to spending the next few weeks together.
