Library Assistant - Circulation & Youth Services
The Southwest Harbor Public Library seeks a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer service-minded individual for the part-time position of Library Assistant. The Assistant will work directly with our patrons, helping them find information or items they seek, assisting with public computers and technology, checking out/in items, assisting with program planning, promotion, presentation and evaluation for youth, networking with schools and other community agencies concerned with children, presenting programs requested, and most importantly, helping to ensure a positive experience for our users.
If you believe in the positive impact of public libraries, then this position may be for you. High school diploma and computer competency required, college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
