As more Prince Georgian's get vaccinated and cases of COVID-19 continue to decline, Prince George's County is opening up. The County Executive has removed all capacity limits and social distancing requirements indoors, however, masks are still required to be worn while inside public spaces.

If you are able, please consider supporting our local Prince George's County businesses. Several new restaurants opened in District 3 during the pandemic, including Starbucks and Tropical Smoothie at Capital Plaza and Gangster Vegan at Riverdale Park Town Center.

Greater Riverdale Cares and Route One Communities Care continue to raise money to purchase meals from local restaurants to feed local residents in need. This innovative program has helped several locally owned business stay open and has provided thousands of delicious meals to those in need. Lean more.

I'd like to feature more of our new--and old favorite--District 3 restaurants and businesses on my social media. Please share your favorite locally owned businesses with me by replying to this email or my Facebook page "PG District 3."

Vaccines Available for All Prince Georgians Ages 12+
In Prince George's County, Maryland and across the entire country, all individuals age 12+ are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

The vaccine is FREE for everyone. You do not need health insurance. Plus, everyone 18+ who is vaccinated in Maryland is automatically entered into a $2 million lottery drawing!

If you have been waiting for any reason, NOW is the time to get vaccinated! It is crucial for all those eligible to get vaccinated especially as capacity restrictions and mask mandates begin to be lifted. We are still in a pandemic and have not yet reached herd immunity.
